I wasn’t really interested in Red Garden at first because of its artwork, but after reading your review I watched an episode and fell in love with it. Red Garden is really a one-of-a-kind and different anime!
(and i’m getting rather bored of the big-eyed, no-nosed, cute anime characters..)

Okay, at first I though it would be a stupid cartoon, but it turned out really good. Each episode leaves me breathless and asking questions. Everybody should watch red garden, though, it’s not like other anime with bug-eyed girls with super powers. I like this type of anime. It feels all goth style.

i think Red garden is an awesome anime! They try to make it look original. not the animes with bug-eyed girls, but original. I don’t mind the sing, though, their voices fit how they feel in current situations. Red garden is worth watching and you understand the mystery in each episode. people should try to watch it, though, and give it a chance.

I have no problems understanding you, don’t worry. I am not a native English speaker either but I do like writing in English for some reason.

The animation of Red Garden is certainly more original…no, not original – let’s just say more refreshingly different than the mainstream compared to the one of Asatte no Houkou but I can’t say for sure which one like better. I think that both suit the mood of their respective series perfectly and that’s what matters in the end.

As for the fansubs of Red Garden, I am starting to feel irrational hatred for any other show subbed by “gg”, the group that works on it. I can’t help it, even thogh Code Geass is not bad for a mecha and they might be having different people working on different series anyway. And I just hope my great expectation won’t bring me disappointment if the next episodes turn out to be good but not great.

Of course that´s their choice! I´m just wondering if I “oversee” something that I´m one of the few who don`t like it.
I´m looking a few times a day if a new sub is out (I hope episode 4 is out soon!)
Asatte no Houko is really interesting, but the face of Hiro is hidden sometimes, so I like the animation of Red Garden better.
I hope you understand what I mean, I´m no native speaker

Well, so far I like Asatte no Houkou almost as much as Red Garden but the latter is a lot more addicting – I keep on thinking when the sub for the new episode will come out and I keep fighting the temptation to watch the raws. And the only reason why I am somewhat frustrated by Kanon being everybody’s darling unlike Red Garden would be the faster subbing of Kanon – if people prefer Kanon, that’s their choice.

I love this Anime!!
It´s the only one of this season I REALLY like. I´m watching Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Asatte no Hokou, too but they aren´t nearly as great as this show!
It is frustrating to see that a great show like Red Garden is so overseen und underated and crap like Kanon is loved by everyone X_X

Awesome! I too really like the series though it seems to be so underrated.
I agree that the sound is great as i get goosebumps when the music starts.
