It's riddled with clichés, and the animation could be better(why the hell do they insist on giving every character some sort of red/brownish colour on their forehead?! No way you can pass that off as blushing or shadow from their hair or something...), but the first 3 episodes never bored me one moment and I don't dislike any of the characters(especially Anri's antics are funny as hell), so I like it regardless of the negative points. But being a Kanon fanboy I'm not so pleased with: "But maybe I am just deceiving myself and refrain from bashing Haruhi because her character design is much better than that of the Kanon girls?" ;) I won’t accuse you of anything with this, as it is exactly the same as I felt when watching the series.
